Low Back Pain (LBP) or lower back pain is a complaint of pain that appears in the back area, from below the ribs to the lumbosacral (around the tailbone). In Indonesia, LBP is also a fairly high occupational health issue. One group of workers at high risk of experiencing LBP is PPSU officers. This study aims to identify factors related to LBP complaints in PPSU officers in East Jakarta City. The type of research used is quantitative with a cross-sectional design. The number of samples in this study was 146 respondents. Data analysis was carried out using the chi-square test with a significance level of α = 0.05. The results showed that of the nine variables studied, four variables were proven to have a relationship with LBP complaints, namely excessive muscle stretching (p-value = 0.032), repetitive activities (p-value = 0.044), unnatural work posture or work position (p-value = 0.052), and physical fitness (p-value = 0.019). Four variables were not associated with LBP complaints: Age (p-value = 0.141), Gender (p-value = 0.697), BMI (p-value = 0.785), and Length of Service (p-value = 0.000). Therefore, PPSU officers in East Jakarta are advised to maintain proper work posture and regularly stretch and exercise to reduce the risk of LBP.
