Occupational safety and health (K3) is a global issue that remains a serious concern, given the high number of workplace accidents and occupational diseases worldwide. Unsafe behavior is an action that carries risks and can threaten the safety of oneself or others, as well as risk causing accidents. Data from the BPJS Ketenagakerjaan (Employment Social Security Agency) shows a significant increase in the number of workplace accidents in October 2024, with 356,383 cases recorded. DKI Jakarta alone recorded 29,008 cases of workplace accidents. This study aims to determine the relationship between factors related to unsafe behavior among PPSU officers in East Jakarta City. This quantitative study involved 146 respondents of PPSU officers in East Jakarta City. Data were collected through questionnaires and will be analyzed univariately and bivariately using Chi-Square. The study was conducted in June-August 2025. The results showed a relationship between attitude (p=0.001), motivation (p=0.001), availability of PPE (p=0.003), length of service (p=0.048), supervision (p=0.000) and unsafe behavior. Variables not related to unsafe behavior were age (p=0.352), knowledge (p=0.843), education level (p=1.000), and training (p=0.300). PPSU officers are expected to increase awareness of the importance of PPE, report near misses and equipment damage, and receive supervision as a protective measure. Companies need to ensure adequate PPE and provide appreciation to increase employee motivation, thereby maintaining safety and performance.
